English: Swaggerty Blockhouse along US-321 near Parrottsville, in the U.S. state of Tennessee. Originally believed to have been a blockhouse built by early settlers in 1787, recent archaeological evidence suggests the blockhouse was actually a cantilever barn built around 1860. The blockhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
