English: Gua Sunyaragi is a former water palace for the sultans of Cirebon, in the Indonesian island of Java. It was once surrounded by water, with lakes, ponds, bathing pools and waterfalls. Its name derives from the words sunyi raga which mean "silent form" in the Javanese language. Sunyaragi served as a meditation place for the sultans, with caves and resting platforms hidden behind curtains of falling water, allowing peaceful and private refuge from the world.
