English: The horizontal steam winding engine on display at the Gwalia Museum was manufactured by Fraser & Chalmers in Erith, Kent, England, and was installed at the Sons of Gwalia mine in 1913. A twin cylinder Corliss valve device rated at 1,000 hp, it is the largest steam winder in Australia.
