Deutsch: Die Stadtkirche St. Maximi (nach dem Patriarchen Maximus von Alexandria) in Merseburg. An Stelle eines romanischen Vorgängerbaus entstand 1432–1501 die heutige gotische Hallenkirche, die Bischof Adolf zu Anhalt 1514 weihte. 1543 predigte erstmals ein lutherischer Geistlicher, der Lizentiat Lorenz Reinhard, woran eine Tafel in der Vorhalle erinnert. 1867–1872 wurde der baufällige Westturm abgerissen, das Kirchenschiff um ein Joch verlängert und der neugotische Turm davorgesetzt. Die Kirche wird heute als Konzerthalle genutzt.
