This is the category for the architectural monument Muthesius Academy of Art.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Kiel-Damperhof, no. 12343 (Nordflügel), Nr. 12344 (ehem. Maschinenbaulaboratorium), Nr. 47620 (Südflügel), Nr. 47621 (Sachgesamtheit: ehem. Kgl. Höhere Schiffs- und Maschinenbauschule (Muthesiuskunsthochschule)).
Deutsch: Die nach dem 2. Weltkrieg entstandene Staatliche Ingenieurschule Kiel' wurde 1906 als Schiffs- und Maschinenbauschule in den Legienstraße 35 gegründet und nutzte auch als Südflügel die ehemalige Städtische Handwerk- und Gewerbeschule Wihelminenstraße 32-34. 1969 wurde die Ingebieurschule zusammen mit mehreren anderen staatlichen Ingenieurschulen und höhereren Fachschulen zur Fachhochschule Kiel zusammengelegt.
English: The State Engineering School Kiel, which was developed after the Second World War, was founded in 1906 as Ship and Mechanical Engineering at Legienstrasse 35 and used also as south wing the Municipal Crafts and Arts School on Wilhelminenstrasse 32-34. In 1969 it was merged with several other state engineering schools and higher technical schools to form the Kiel University of Applied Sciences.
