English: The church of Saint Peter is located in the hamlet of North Barningham beside a road surrounded by fields. North Barningham is classed as a lost settlement and It’s church was declared redundant in 1969 and earmarked for demolition, but parishioners in cooperation with the Norfolk Churches Trust saved the building which is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church houses several elaborate monuments, mainly to the Palgraves who were Lords of the Manor until the mid-18th century. A C14 double piscina can be seen in the chancel south wall and the original font is still in place at the west end. An ornate wheel design can be seen on the nave floor. The church is a grade II* listed building.
