English: The 5,000 square feet St. Marys Submarine Museum in Georgia, is the largest submarine museum in the Southern United States, and ranks as the fifth largest submarine museum in the nation. It houses near all WWII era submarine patrol reports and command history files, which were until recently classified. Among displays, various submarine related artifacts such as working Type 8 periscope, a WWII dive suit and Mark 14 torpedo, locker hatch from the USS Blueback, multiple control panels, and other items from the USS James K. Polk, USS Puffer, USS Aspro, USS Flying Fish, S-10, USS Dolphin and the USS Louisville, can be found. St. Marys Submarine Museum displays two artifacts from the sunken Russian submarine Kursk (K-141). Part of the exhibits are located at the nearby King's Bay Naval Submarine Base close to the Franklin Gate Entrance.
