English: Southwest Anchorage refers to the portion of Anchorage, Alaska lying west of the north-south alignment of Minnesota Drive and south of the east-west runway of Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. It is normally referred to as the Jewel Lake or Sand Lake area of Anchorage, as it contains those lakes and surrounding neighborhoods. It also contains several nearby and mostly smaller lakes, such as Campbell, Delong and Sundi lakes, and the Bayshore, Kincaid and Southport neighborhoods.
