English: Souk Jara is a Jordanian annual weekly flea market event that occurs every Friday throughout Summer. The word Jara stands for the (Jabal Amman Residents Association). This event started in 2005. Jabal Amman is one of the original 7 hills that made Amman and is now one of its classical quarters. Amman of course is the capital of Jordan. The photos bellow were taken before the crowds gathered.

العربية: سوق جارا، سوق موسمي يبدأ اسبوعيا في كل يوم جمعة خلال شهر (حزيران / يونيو) وينتهي في شهر (تشرين الأول / أكتوبر) تقيمه سنويا رابطة سكان جبل عمان. هو سوق تراثي يقام في حي جبل عمان وسط العاصمة الأردنية عمّان. يرتاده السياح بكثرة خلال فصل الصيف. يقام هذا السوق تحت رعاية الرئيس الفخري للجمعية الأمير علي بن الحسين وبالتنسيق مع أمانة عمان الكبرى. بدأ نشاط هذا السوق في موسم عام 2005.
