Ancient silver amphora, discovered during construction work of the Zuid-Willemsvaart in 1828 in the river Meuse near Neerharen, Limburg, then in the Netherlands, after 1830 in Belgium. The bottom of the amphora contains inscriptions in Latin and Greek, which have not yet been deciphered. The object from the Iron Age period (Greek/Celtic?) probably originates from Southern Europe and dates from the 2nd or 1st century BC. It is now in the collection of the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden.
