The four 20-story Seward Park Housing Corporation buildings, located between East Broadway, and Grand, Essex and Pitt Streets, across from Seward Park in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City were built in 1957-59 and were designed by Herman Jessor. The union-financed buildings are known for their murals by Hugo Gellert each of which depicts a hero of progressive politics.
