Sea Control Squadron 38 (VS-38) was an aviation unit of the United States Navy. History:
20 July 1951: U.S. Naval Air Reserve Anti-Submarine Squadron 892 (VS-892) called to active duty;
4 February 1953: redesignated Anti-Submarine Squadron 38 (VS-38) "Red Griffins";
1 October 1993: redesignated Sea Control Squadron 38 (VS-38);
30 April 2004: disestablished.
