English: Rossmore Vet Hospital is a veterinary practice located on Bringelly Road and is currently the site for the Liverpool City Council animal shelter. The practice was founded in January 1986 and a purpose build hospital was completed in January 1987, and initially met the needs of local farmers. Many of these farmers are no longer available due to rapid urbanisation, and thus the operation now mainly caters to domesicated household animals. As of 2024 it is the only private vet practice in Sydney with a dedicated vet MR unit. (Rossmore Vet Hospital, 2023) The veterinary practice is currently the site of the Liverpool City Council animal shelter after the lease of the previous site at the old Renbury Farm Facility expired in July 2020.
