This protest was held in Budapest on Sunday, December 16th 2018, against the Overtime Work Act, that passed the Assembly on the 12th, but it was not yet approved by President János Áder (which would happen on the 20th). It was organised by Péter Tárkányi under the name Boldog karácsonyt, Miniszterelnök Úr! ("Merry Christmas, Mr. Prime Minister!"), officially between 15:00 and 18:00. It followed the more spontenious protests that sprung up earlier that week, in response to the passing of the bill under scandalous circumstances.

The main protest was a march of 15 000 from Heroes' Squere to Kossuth Squere (16:00-17:00), a series of speeches, followed by the march of a smaller group all the way to the MTVA HQ in Óbuda (18:45-21:00). Though larger in size, and though the long northern march was unusual (such protests are usually localised to the city centre), overall the protest signifies the consolidation of events. The protest was much less agressive, and much more like protests typical of opposition organisations in the 2010s.
