English: Standing in a spacious forest clearing, the Prince of Wales Martello Tower is a massively built, plain squat cylindrical tower of solid stone construction with a low profile. The tower is 72 feet in diameter at ground level. It has massive circular walls built of rubble masonry and its exterior wall inclines slightly inwards as it rises. The structure reaches 26 feet in height at the parapet. Near the top the wall is encircled by a stone cordon and above this four projecting galleries are evenly spaced around the Tower. Beneath each gallery are openings to the interior: on the north are wooden stairs to a door at the second level.
Français : La tour Martello Prince-de-Galles, qui se dresse dans une grande clairière, est une massive et simple construction de pierres au profil cylindrique trapu. Son diamètre au niveau du sol mesure 72 pieds. Ses murs circulaires massifs sont en maçonnerie et accusent une légère inclinaison vers le centre de la structure à mesure qu’ils s’élèvent. La tour mesure 26 pieds de hauteur en son parapet. Une assise de ceinture en saillie se trouve près du haut du mur et est surplombée par quatre galeries à mâchicoulis également espacées autour de la tour. Une ouverture est pratiquée sous chaque galerie : du côté nord, un escalier en bois mène à une porte qui s’ouvre au deuxième étage.
