The Noisy friarbird (Philemon corniculatus), has few rivals for raucous pugnacity and quarrelsomeness. It appears in 7th Brigade Park, Chermside, whenever nectar bearing flowers are in abundance. The bird's penetrating 'Four O'Clock!' call can be heard whenever it is present and disputing over resources.
