The altarpiece of the Virgin at the Magrana is the oldest altarpiece in the cathedral, carved and painted between 1480 and 1490 ; the painter of the upper and right panels is the same as that of the organ shutters painted in 1504. This altarpiece is located in the southern apsidiole and comes from the former Romanesque church of Saint-Jean-le-Vieux located right next to the cathedral.
