English: Parsons Polygon (1985) in Blackett Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, is a piece of public art disguising a ventilation shaft for Monument Metro station. Clad in moulded terracotta tiles, it features abstract designs by David Hamilton, intended to memorialise the engineer Sir Charles Parsons (1854-1931).
