Packard Series 58L was built for model year 1958. Model name "Clipper" was dropped; as was the stock supercharger. A Studebaker Hawk derived Packard Hawk (with S/C) was added. Second year of Packard Manufacture in the Studebaker plant in South Bend IN ("Packardbaker), and last year for the make. Series consisted of four body styles (previous Clipper Series 57L, Two):
- Model 58L-J8; Hardtop (675 built)
- Model 58L-Y8; Sedan (1200 built)
- Model 58L-P8; Station Wagon (159 built)
- Model 58L-K9; Hawk Hardtop (588 built)
