Ormheim is a place in the Romsdalen Valley. "Ormheim Station" with guest house in 1700s,[1] near the Rauma River. Station moved to where new road was laid in 1860. Post office 1873. Between 1880 and 1926 also a more official skysstasjon (transport stationi) between the Stueflaaten and the Flatmark transport stations. New Hotel complete in 1893, changed name to "Ormheim Hotel". A mud avalanche destroyed the main building in 1926.
