The New York Foundling Hospital is a non-profit agency in New York City that provides a range of social services to children and adults. It was founded as an orphanage for abandoned infants by Sister Irene Fitzgibbon of the Sisters of Charity in 1869, and was historically associated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York.
