English: 'McKenna Square Park is a small New York City parklet located on West 165th Street between St. Nicholas/Audubon Avenues and Amsterdam Avenue in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. West 165th Street, which otherwise carries two-way traffic, divides at Amsterdam Avenue into eastbound and westbound lanes angled to each other, and McKenna Square Park sits between the two lanes - McKenna Square being the name for the intersection of West 165th Street, St. Nicholas and Audubon Avenues. In the park is a small pavilion called the "Greek Temple", made of concrete, glass and steel and designed by HPD Architects. It was dedicated on June 23, 1985, along with the seating area of the park. (Source: NYC Parks Dept) On the northern (westbound) side are the Audubon Post Office and Gregorio Luperon High School, and on the southern (eastbound) is St. Rose of Lima's Church and rectory.
