The Main Navy and Munitions buildings were "temporary" buildings constructed during World War I in Washington D.C. to house the Department of the Navy and other military offices. They were located along Constitution Avenue adjacent to the National Mall in the area of present-day Constitution Gardens. Additions were built during World War II on areas of West Potomac Park, and all buildings were demolished in 1970 following an order of President Nixon.
