English: The Los Angeles Pigeon Farm (1898-1914) — located between the Los Angeles River and Verdugo Mountains, in Los Angeles, California.
  • It was on 8 acres in the Cypress Park and Glassell Park districts, centered near the junction of San Fernando Road and Verdugo Road.
  • Established in 1898 by J. Y. Johnson for the production of Squab meat, and in operation until a Los Angeles River flood destroyed it in 1914. (KCET)
