Note this is NOT the Lion Hunt of Ashurbanipal, which is in London, and some two centuries later. Ashurnasirpal II was a king of the 9th century (Wikipedia gives … was king of Assyria from 883 to 859 BC.). His reliefs were found in the Northwest Palace of Nimrud. I found both the Pergamon Museum in Berlin and the British Museum seem to have pictures of him hunting lions. Ashurbanipal was a king of the 7th century (Wikipedia gives … reigned 669–631 BC). His reliefs were found in the North Palace of Nineveh, and all seem to be in room 10 in the British Museum. Ashurbanipal II never was.
