The Leeds Tiger is a taxidermy mounted skin of a Bengal tiger shot in India in 1860 by Colonel Charles Reid, and donated to Leeds Philosophical Society in 1862 by William Gott. It is displayed in Leeds City Museum, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, and is a local visitor attraction. For further information, see Leeds Tiger. The taxidermist James Dickinson, MBE, repaired the Leeds tiger in 2008, cleaning it and replacing the inner supporting frame.
