English: A Latter Day Saint is an adherent of the Latter Day Saint movement, a group of denominations tracing their heritage to the teachings of Joseph Smith, Jr.
The variant Latter-day Saint is used exclusively for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), the largest of these denominations after the succession crisis caused by Smith's death.
This is a category should contain only individuals who are or were members of a sect in the Latter Day Saint movement other then the LDS Church, Community of Christ, or Church of Christ (original name of church founded by Smith).
