Kováčov (Kovácspatak) is a former mountain resort in the Burda Mountains, on the territory of Kamenica nad Hronom (Garamkövesd), which was demolished after the Second World War. A nursing home was built on the same place in 1958. A nearby area with holiday homes and hotels on the territory of Chľaba (Helemba) village is also called Kováčov/Kovácspatak. The spectacular cliffs above the Danube river are called Kovácspataki-sziklák, and the whole Burda Mountain is called Kovácspataki-hegyek in Hungarian. Kovács-patak is the name of a small brook at the old resort.
