Deutsch: Kelso war eine kleine Siedlung in der Region Otago auf der Südinsel Neuseelands. Sie befand sich zehn Kilometer nördlich von Tapanui am Kelso River, nahe seiner Einmündung in den Pomahaka River. In den 1960er und 1970er Jahren hatte der Ort fast 300 Einwohner, die zumeist in der Milchviehhaltung und einer kleinen Molkerei beschäftigt waren. (→Kelso (Neuseeland))
English: Kelso is an abandoned small settlement in Otago, New Zealand, located ten kilometres north of Tapanui on the Crookston Burn, close to its junction with the larger Pomahaka River. Its population during the 1960s and 1970s was close to 300, with most of its economy based around sheep farming. A small dairy factory was a focal point in the villages early years.
