Kakarlamudi is a village in Vemuru tehsil, in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a population of 2,500 (2001 census). It is located 25 miles (40 km) east of Guntur City. A canal from the Krishna River flows through Kakarlamudi making it a part of the rice bowl of Andhra Pradesh. Kakarlamudi is at a junction connecting Tenali, Vijayawada, and Repalle.
