This little mosque seems to have been founded by an official responsible for keeping the furs in the sultan's palace. There must have been a lot of them, and no modern pesticides, so a modest mosque was within his reach. It has several spolia, re-used remains from Roman or Byzantine times, and a more recent sun-dial in the lower regions of the minaret. It was founded in 1511.
