Johannes Bartholomeus (J.B. of Joh. B.) Smits (Haarlem, 03-04-1874 - Bandung, 17-11-1944) was een Nederlands vormgever, actief als ontwerper, interieurontwerper, tekenaar, lithograaf, vervaardiger van houtsnedes en kunstnijveraar. Van 1924 tot 1939 was hij tevens directeur van het Instituut voor Kunstnijverheidsonderwijs te Amsterdam. (bron RKD)
