English: Japanese Bamboo Art: The Abbey Collection was a special exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art of Japanese woven or plaited bamboo objects from the permanent museum collection and the private collection of Diane and Arthur Abbey. It exhibited more than 80 bamboo baskets and sculptures created by Japanese artisans and artists, including all six masters who have received the designation "Living National Treasure." The exhibition was held from 13 June 2017 – 4 February 2018.
