The 7-story Hotel 17 at 225 East 17th Street between Second and Third Avenues in the Stuyvesant Square neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1883 as an apartment building, the St. George Residence. Before becoming a hotel it was converted to furnished rooms in the 1930s. It is located within the Stuyvesant Square Historic District.
