Tall case clock, Nevers Cathedral.[edit]

English: The clock placed on top of a joiner crate of Louis XIII style, which conceals mechanism and balance weight. The jaquemart consists of a bell held by Saint Michael slaying the dragon, while a knight strikes the hours posted on an enameled dial. A sphere distinguishes the daylight hours of the night ones.
