English: The First South Gate of Honmaru enceinte of Nagoya Castle formed a square shape with the Second South Gate, and had a smaller gate on the side with a gabled and tiled roof. The wall section under the front part of the gate was covered in wooden tiles, and the gate itself was iron plated and rocks could be dropped from a second-store. The door on the smaller gate was latticed for reinforcement.
日本語: 名古屋城 本丸 南ー之門
