In Gloeden's times, the upper part of Villa Zuccaro sported a garden, just below the Badia Vecchia. Whereas the main building (the Villa proper) still exists as a pizzeria, a hotel was later built in the garden, whose features visible in Gloeden's images (fountains, stairs, statues) are no longer visible.
