The Hang [haŋ] is a musical instrument played with the hands. It was developed in Switzerland by Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer (PANArt Hangbau AG). Its sound is based on the physical principles of the steelpan. Its name refers to the Bernese German word for hand. Hang® is a registered trademark and property of PANArt Hangbau AG.
