English: Guy Waring's cabin in Winthrop, Washington (locally known as "The Castle" or "Waring's Castle," presumably for its position on a bluff over town) is on the National Register of Historic Places. Simeon Shafer purchased the building and property, and relocated several other historic buildings to the property. This eventually became the Shafer Museum.
