Honorary grave of German painter Philipp Otto Runge, his wife Pauline and further decendents, in the center of Althamburgischer Gedächtnisfriedhof, place no. 15. The original location till 1935 was the ancient Burial ground of St. Petri church (part of the old Hamburg Dammtorfriedhöfe).
The grave stele with portrait relief was created by German sculptor Egon Lissow (1926-1990) in 1953/54 based on Runge's self-portrait of 1801/1802.
