| The Polish Vasas were in possession of large collections of goldsmiths created in major centers in Poland and abroad, mainly in Augsburg and Nuremberg. Sigismund III, an amateur silversmith and goldsmith collector, created himself with the help of a court goldsmith Redutti church utensils, chains, etc. in Italian style. According to a testament prepared in 1623 by Sigismund III, the King's possessions included: S. Reliquiae framed in gold, precious stones and ebony, gold vessels including ... a gold lavabo with a jug with Muscovite crests, bought from soldiers. | ||
