George W. Stigleman Sr. was a photographer. The 1850 US census lists him as "Washington Stiggleman" so his full name is most likely "George Washington Stigleman". Langdon's List of 19th & Early 20th Century Photographers lists him as "George Walter Stigleman". There is also confusion with another George W. Stigleman from Indiana at his Findagrave entry where the dates of birth and death do not match.
