To the north of the palace there are extensive gardens, open to the public. Near the palace they are in French baroque style, further on English style takes over. In it one can find a mausoleum, a belvedere, waterworks, ponds and statue groups. One reaches them after passing the orangeries at the southwest side of the palace, then heading north.
