English: "Carlotta" is the name written by Wilhelm von Gloeden, on some reverse, as the title for two portraits of a beautiful girl from Taormina holding flowers. Local memory in Taormina has that her real name was Francesca Castorina (married to Agatino Lo Turco) born on September 1st 1897, who died on January 30th 1983. Her grandchildren still live in Taormina.
