English: The Felix M. Warburg House was designed by C. P. H. Gilbert and built in 1909 at 1109 Fifth Avenue. In 1944, widow Frieda Warburg donated the François I chateau-style building to the Jewish Theological Seminary. Subsequently the museum acquired the adjacent property on the avenue to the north of it and, in 1993, commissioned Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo & Associates to build an expansion that replicated the chateau style to make it appear as though the expansion had been built at the same time as the original mansion. The building is now known as The Jewish Museum.
