Deutsch: Das Ethnologische Museum ist ein Museum in Berlin. Der Sammlungsschwerpunkt liegt auf Kunst- und Kulturgegenständen außereuropäischer Völker und Ethnien. Es befand sich früher in den Museen Dahlem, wurde aber ins Humboldt Forum verlegt. So kann man auf Objekte stoßen, die Museen Dahlem im Namen tragen. Das Humboldt Forum spricht auf seiner Website von Ethnologischem Museum und Museum für Asiatische Kunst als zwei Einheiten, daher wird auch hier diese Trennung vorgenommen.

English: The Ethnological Museum (Ethnologisches Museum) was located in Berlin-Dahlem and houses over 500,000 objects from throughout the world and large numbers of sound recordings, documentary photographs and films. The museum collects, preserves and researches cultural products of pre-industrial societies, primarily in Oceania ,Latin America and (West)Africa. It used to be in the Museen Dahlem, but has been transferred to the Humboldt Forum. Part of the new displays are open, i.e. in the West Wing. Others are to be opened in the East Wing. As a result of the move one may come across items with Museen Dahlem in their name. On their website the Humboldt Forum speaks of Ethnologisches Museum and Museum für Asiatische Kunst as two entities, hence that split is made here also.
