Nederlands: Estate is de verzamelterm voor het bezit van een groot stuk land, dat diverse vormen van gebruik kan hebben. Meest bekend is het landgoed. Maar de term wordt in het Engels ook gebruikt voor Industrial estates (voor Nederland: Category:Industrial areas in the Netherlands), Aristocratic estates (zoals kastelen en paleizen, zie hieronder) en voor sociale woningbouw (voor Nederland: Category:Public housing in the Netherlands).
