The Essipong Sports Stadium, also called Sekondi Sports Stadium, is a multifunctional sports stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi, the capital of the Western Region of Ghana. The construction was accomplished by the Chinese enterprise Shangai Construction Company Limited and finished in 2008 with a capacity of 20,000 seats (official information).
