English: The Embassy of Nicaragua located at 1627 New Hampshire Avenue NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The Georgian Revival style building was designed by Clarke Waggaman in 1914. Dr. Louis C. Lehr and his wife, Marie, were the original occupants of the building. Additional previous occupants include Undersecretary of State Norman H. Davis, U.S. Mint Director Raymond T. Baker, Representative Joseph Hendrix Himes, Commerce Secretary Roy D. Chapin, and longtime Nicaraguan ambassador Guillermo Sevilla-Sacasa.
