English: The Eastern Water Supply Canal (Russian: Восточный водопроводный канал), also known as the Akulovo Water Canal (Russian: Акуловский водоканал) is a canal in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It connects the Ucha Reservoir (a reservoir in the system of the Moscow Canal located in northern central part of Moscow Oblast) and the Eastern Water Station in the Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow. The canal was built in 1933—1937; the construction was carried on by enterprises of the Gulag system.
